Heal the World

Was wif my gf getting stuff from Giant at Parkway Parade today. Wanted to get a trolley but both of us didnt have a dollar coin. Incidentaly, an Indian couple was returning their trolley and my gf asked whether we could change our coins wif their dollar coin. The lady gave us the dollar, and as I was fumbling thru my wallet trying to get the change, she said "just take it".

Both me and my gf were like "cannot cannot", and I counted out three 20 cent and four 10 cent coins, and handed it over to her.

Just wanted to thank the couple... for being nice. Such incidents really do make the world a better place.

Orientation

Ok... I'm not supposed to blog about work. Think this line was added into the do's and dont's slide in recent years when blogging became a "problem" heh...

Anyway, I'm currently paired up with Jamie and an out-of-phase HO doing GS. Work starts on Friday and I'm currently excited yet frightened at the same time. Hope everything will be all right at the end of this working year, be it "I won't see the sun" or "no social life for XXX months"... O well, I will survive.

Hmm... and the photos of my pretty jigsaw still doesn't load, dammit.

Ok tried uploading the snoopy pics... but blogspot refused to let me, again.

Anyway, my room air-con was spraying water again... sighz... it happens approximately once every month. The air-con mechanic better get it fixed once and for all this time round. If he doesn't, I will feed him to my hamsters.

When 'life' is ending...

Almost done with my snoopy puzzle, been to Phuket and got sun-burnt, watched a few episodes of prison break,  owned Australia in Risk, celebrated my gf's birthday, currently reading The Rule of Four and Complete Notes from Singapore, had 3 mahjong sessions, and starting orientation tomorrow.

Oh... 1 more. Sadly saying goodbye to weekends.

Mission Impossible

Hope to finish this asap... this is my greatest jigsaw conquest so far with 2014 pieces!!! My record was 2000 pieces (some scenery pic which I think looks like Hokkaido). The scenery one seemed easier to do cos' it had bands of different colored flowers and all I had to do was to pick up similar colored pieces and by trial and error fit them together. This snoopy one is generally a shade of ancient brown throughout and it's getting on my nerves... sighz... and I still got Lost and Prison Break Seasons 1 & 2 and a few books to read and my game to play.

They should give us a 3 month holiday to make up for all the short holidays we had starting from year 2. Haiz... no time, no time!!!

Damn

Juz realized that imagestation where all my previous pics were uploaded into is gone for good.  Need to find a good and reliable website now...

Apparently the babies are sort of getting milk from the mother while she is in this postition =p

FYI, the babies are blind and they occasionally wander around when they get abit older. When that happens, the mother will pick em' up and place them back in a designated spot (the nest), which changes from week to week.
